Don't Stop--Keep it Coming

Happy Friday!  I hope you are all looking forward to the weekend, I know I am.  This RTW Fast is proving to be very rewarding, I think I mentioned that in another posting.  So much so that I have decided to "ramp" things up a bit.

New Pattern--New Top---Disaster Strikes!

I am so excited with all the new fabric that I have acquired.  I am sure  someone out there can relate, I have a stash of fabric that I always say, "I'm gonna make something with that" and then it sits!

Can't get Enough

I hope you all had a fun and relaxing weekend.  My weekend was very busy. I was in Niagara Falls with some friends and did a little cross border shopping.  On my excursion across the border I went to Joann Fabric and Craft Store.

Work It Out!

Happy Sunday.  It was a lazy Sunday for me. Basketball and Football on my TV all day. I wanted something that was comfy-cozy.  I made this jacket with the Vogue #8778.

I have a busy weekend ahead with birthday parties, dinners and the usual weekend activities.  With all the hustle and bustle of the week, there is always time to sew.

Newsboy Cap- First Attempt

I am always looking for something to inspire my next project.  Recently, I came across www.malepatternboldness.blogspot.ca by Peter Lappin and saw his Newsboy Cap.  My husband always complains that I never make anything for him.  In all the sewing I do, I try to avoid male patterns because my hubby is so particular about the way in wants his clothes to fit,

Birthday Party Beauty

I hope everyone had a great weekend.  My weekend was fun with a 40th Birthday Bash for my lovely husband.  We had a few friends over for munchies and then we went out dancing.  I needed an outfit that was fun and sexy.  I was inspired by Mimi G's Peplum Dress.

Simplicity 2472 Pattern Review

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.  It is absolutely FREEZING here.  On a day like this, I would rather stay in bed, comfy and warm.  However, duty calls.   I managed to get some sewing in this weekend.

Boucle Suit part 2

My adventure continues with this suit.  I completed the fitting of the jacket cut out the pattern pieces in the fabric, which I love.  In all my haste to work on this project, I forgot to look for some lining material.  When I make a garment that requires lining, I like to "jazz" it up a bit, go BOLD with the lining.

High-Waist Pants- Butterick 5895

I thought I would post a pattern that I absolutely LOVE.  I have made the pants in several fabrics; my favourite being the black Corduroy(featured) and the Camo fabric.

Boucle Suit part 1

I was inspired by one of my favourite blog- @Mimi G of @ www.mimigstyle.com  Her style and the way that she chooses fabrics are amazing.
