Gathered Skirt


I've been on a "gathered skirt" kick lately.  I like the ease of the pattern and the versatility.  I was so excited about the pattern I made my mother a skirt and managed to make myself 2 skirts.  There are plenty of tutorial on the web for making a gathered skirt; most give you the same cutting measurements.  I added pockets to my skirts because I LOVE pockets.

    The skirt you made for your mother is BEAUTIFUL!!!! I love the buttons on the white skirt, too, and the stripey waistband on the the second skirt you made for yourself. :)
