Silky and Smooth

HAPPY THURSDAY.


We've made it through the week.  I have been feeling under weather these last few days. I hope that I don't make my family sick. I am doing everything I can to keep it just to myself.  I think that this weekend is going to be filled with rest and relaxation, I need to kick this "flu thing".

On to my project.  I don't know if you remember I had bought some silky fabrics in the posting My Patterns Have Arrived!   Well I finally made something with one of the fabrics.  I had to attempt the McCall's 6841 top again., I was bound and determined NOT to mess it up again.  The jacket and skirt is from Vogue pattern, which I believe is out of print, but I can't seem to find the pattern number.  As soon as I find it, I will update the posting.  I love this top so much,  I will be sewing this again!
